Short answer · Edikka prices for 2026
How much does a website redesign cost in France?
At Edikka, a website project starts at €5,000 excluding VAT. This entry point covers a targeted intervention with a contained scope and limited uncertainty. A complete B2B website redesign usually ranges from €10,000 to €18,999 excluding VAT. Strategic, multilingual or business-connected projects generally range from €19,000 to €34,999 excluding VAT. Platforms, multisite estates and highly integrated projects start at €35,000 excluding VAT.
These figures are Edikka’s public pricing policy for France, reviewed on 20 August 2026. They are neither a French market average nor an automatic quote. The final price depends on the written scope, deliverables, responsibilities, assumptions and risks agreed before engagement.
Four figures to qualify a project before a quote.
Starting price for a targeted redesign.

Firm prices without a written scope.
A public price should help a buyer qualify — or disqualify — a project quickly. It should not imply that page count alone can price migration, information architecture, editorial systems, business integrations or launch responsibility.

| Status | What the figure establishes | Reading limit |
|---|---|---|
| Public source | France Num cites a €2,000 to €8,000 range for a brochure website depending on complexity, and recommends a 15% to 20% contingency reserve. | This is a general budgeting benchmark, not an Edikka price list or an equivalent for a bespoke B2B redesign. |
| Platform observation | In 2026, Malt publishes average day rates of €575 for experienced developers, €506 for UX designers and €498 for active SEO consultants. | These figures concern individual freelancers and separate disciplines. They do not automatically include agency delivery responsibility, project direction, acceptance testing, risk or continuity. |
| Sector observation | La Fabrique du Net documents an editorial corpus of 425 redesigns: an €8,000 median and a €24,000 mean. For Île-de-France, the published median is €10,000 across 136 projects. | The data is declarative and mixes project scopes. The source’s dynamic summary displays changing values, so it is deliberately not used as the fixed reference here. |
| Edikka policy | The four ranges and time-based rates below are Edikka’s public qualification conditions as of 20 August 2026. | A range becomes binding only when a signed proposal defines scope, deliverables, responsibilities, schedule, exclusions and change control. |
| Not demonstrated | No revenue, conversion, traffic or ranking gain is inferred from the budget. | A redesign can create better performance conditions, but it guarantees neither enquiries, Google rankings nor AI citations. |
Project pricing
Four website redesign tiers, four materially different scopes.
€5,000–€9,999 excl. VAT · 4 to 7 weeks
Targeted website redesign
One journey, a strategic landing page or a small website with no more than three templates. Content is available, the sitemap changes little and integrations are limited to standard services such as forms, measurement and consent management.
Not suitable for extensive copywriting, multilingual delivery, migration of hundreds of URLs, authenticated areas or bespoke business integrations.
€10,000–€18,999 excl. VAT · 8 to 12 weeks
Complete B2B website redesign
Framing, architecture, messaging, bespoke UX/UI, development, administration, essential SEO migration, structured data, measurement, acceptance testing and launch. The project remains a single website with a controlled number of templates and standard integrations.
This is the most common range for a B2B company that needs to realign its website with its offer, evidence and user journeys without building a business platform.
€19,000–€34,999 excl. VAT · 12 to 18 weeks
Strategic or connected redesign
Complex offer architecture, content consolidation or production, several languages, advanced forms, CRM integration, access rules, high editorial volume, extensive SEO migration, stronger accessibility requirements or governance across several teams.
The budget pays less for “more pages” than for more decisions, states, dependencies, controls and responsibilities.
From €35,000 excl. VAT · bespoke schedule
Platform, multisite or high-complexity project
Several websites or brands, customer areas, large catalogues, workflows, business data, substantial data transfer, security constraints, distributed acceptance testing or phased deployment. The project is divided into lots, with separate passage decisions and budgets where that reduces risk.
Edikka can frame these projects and then confirm whether it should deliver alone, work with specialists or recommend another organisation.
At this level, templates, content, integrations and review cycles must be explicitly limited. Presenting €5,000 as the price of a complete redesign would either conceal exclusions or compress the framing, migration and acceptance work that protects the project.

Time-based pricing
€125 per hour or €900 per day: when do these rates apply?
| Mode | Rate | Use | Condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Expert hour | €125 | Bounded diagnosis, correction, advice or an enhancement whose duration can be tracked precisely. | One-hour minimum, then 30-minute increments. |
| Expert day | €900 | Workshop, audit, UX/UI sprint, development, migration, acceptance testing or planned support. | Reserved capacity tied to a defined objective and deliverable. It is not a transferable bank of hours. |
| Urgent intervention | €155/hour | Unplanned work requested within two business days or outside the project sequence. | Subject to availability and risk qualification. |
| Project fee | From €5,000 | Scope, deliverables, milestones and responsibilities are defined sufficiently. | The client buys an outcome and delivery framework, not a transferable stock of hours. |
The day rate is not a discount derived from the hourly rate. It reserves capacity, an objective and delivery responsibility. To compare two days, ask what each covers: preparation, meetings, production, quality control, documentation, risk and reporting.
Worked example
What can an €18,000 website redesign budget include?
This example shows one possible allocation for a complete B2B redesign. It is neither a universal package nor a quote. Each line corresponds to an observable deliverable and delivery responsibility. The B2B website redesign brief then turns these workstreams into comparable requirements, acceptance criteria, evidence and responsibilities.
| Workstream | Budget | What must be observable |
|---|---|---|
| Diagnosis and framing | €2,000 | Scope, objectives, responsibilities, risks, schedule and acceptance criteria. |
| Architecture and content | €2,400 | Inventory, sitemap, page roles, messages, evidence and retention decisions. |
| UX/UI and visual system | €3,200 | Wireframes, responsive designs, components, states and approvals. |
| Development and administration | €6,100 | Templates, functions, back office, performance, documentation and environments. |
| SEO migration and AI visibility | €1,600 | URL inventory, migration decisions, metadata, structured data and access checks. |
| Acceptance, accessibility and measurement | €1,700 | Scenarios, evidence, defects, retests, analytics events and the go/no-go decision. |
| Project direction and launch | €1,000 | Milestones, decision records, coordination, deployment and agreed follow-up. |
| Total | €18,000 | The total is valid only with the assumptions and exclusions in the proposal. |
Price variables
The nine factors that materially change a website redesign quote.
Existing estate
What must be understood, transferred or removed.
URL volume, technical debt, content, data, accounts, licences, contracts and the quality of available access.
Architecture
The number of decisions, not only the number of pages.
Offers, audiences, languages, navigation levels, templates, variants, states and administration rights.
Content
Who writes, approves, translates and maintains it.
Ready-to-use copy, restructured copy and copy produced after interviews represent different work.
Design
The number of systems and states to design.
Visual direction, responsive behaviour, accessibility, interactions, components, edge cases and brand consistency.
Functions
Business rules and external connections.
Forms, CRM, ERP, booking, authentication, payment, search, imports, exports and automated processing.
Migration
Preserve what matters without copying the debt.
URL mapping, redirects, canonicals, hreflang, internal linking, media, structured data, sitemaps and baselines. The SEO and AI visibility migration protocol shows what this workstream must actually produce and verify.
Quality
Acceptance criteria and expected evidence.
Browsers, devices, performance, accessibility, security, consent, backup, restoration and post-launch controls. The pre-launch acceptance-testing matrix connects these checks to evidence and a go/no-go decision.
Governance
The number of stakeholders and approvals.
One available decision-maker does not require the same direction as several teams, countries, suppliers or legal layers.
Schedule
Speed, dependencies and feedback capacity.
A shortened timeline can require more parallel delivery, reserved availability and rework risk.
Comparability
A quote is transparent only when its exclusions are transparent too.
| Item | Edikka treatment | Question to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Content | The volume of writing, rewriting, integration and translation is documented. | Who supplies, approves and updates each item? |
| Licences and third-party services | Known costs are separated from production fees. | Who owns the account, and what happens when the contract ends? |
| Hosting and maintenance | They are included only when they appear as separate line items. | What is the annual cost, coverage and response time? |
| Revision cycles | The number, milestone and nature of included changes are defined. | Does a new direction after approval constitute a scope change? |
| Migration and acceptance | Deliverables, controls, evidence and responsibilities are named. | What can block launch, and who signs the decision? |
| Post-launch | The follow-up period and covered defects are documented. | What is a defect, an enhancement or an external incident? |
Trade-offs
Reduce the budget without underfunding the project.
The sound approach is not to make every phase cheaper. It is to reduce the number of things to decide and produce while retaining the framing, migration and acceptance work required by the chosen scope.
The first saving may be deciding not to launch the redesign. Gate G0 in the website redesign risk register first requires a demonstrated problem, a baseline and a named decision owner. If a focused correction is sufficient, replacing the whole website is the wrong scope.
- Retain useful content and URLs instead of rewriting everything.
- Reduce templates and variants before reducing their quality.
- Move a non-critical business integration to a later lot.
- Name one decision-maker and set approval windows.
- Provide verified access, inventories, data and constraints during framing.
- Choose a standard solution when the need is genuinely standard, even if Edikka does not provide it.
SEO migration, acceptance testing, accessibility, measurement and reversibility can look invisible in a design. They are what prevent a short-term saving from becoming debt or a loss that is difficult to diagnose.
Total cost
The project price is not the website’s three-year cost.
To compare two solutions, add hosting, licences, maintenance, planned enhancements, internal administration, content production, training and exit costs to the initial budget. A cheaper launch can become more expensive if every change requires a supplier, licence fees rise or data is difficult to recover.
Three-year total cost = initial project + 36 months of recurring costs + planned enhancements + internal time + reversibility cost. The public estimator separates these lines so that a production fee is not compared with an offer that includes hosting, maintenance or subscriptions.
Public tool
Estimate a budget without submitting your data.
The Edikka XLSX estimator lets you select a project tier, adjust workstreams, add recurring costs and retain assumptions. Every formula remains visible. Its output supports framing; it is not a quote or a promise that Edikka will accept the project.

Engagement conditions
What the first conversation decides — and what it does not.
Before
You share the current website and intended budget.
URL, objectives, constraints, schedule, stakeholders, connected tools, known problems and budget level. No sensitive information is required for the first conversation.
First conversation
We check fit and the main unknowns.
The conversation is not a disguised free audit. It establishes whether the need, decision readiness, schedule and order of magnitude fit Edikka’s method.
After
The proposal turns the range into a commitment.
It defines scope, deliverables, responsibilities, approval cycles, schedule, price, known recurring costs, exclusions and change control.
| Project | Public schedule | Rule |
|---|---|---|
| €5,000–€9,999 excl. VAT | 50% on order · 50% on delivery | The second payment follows acceptance of the agreed scope and precedes production deployment. |
| €10,000–€34,999 excl. VAT | 40% · 30% · 20% · 10% | Order, approved design, end of pre-launch acceptance, then delivery closure. |
| From €35,000 excl. VAT | By lots and milestones | Each lot has its own scope, passage criteria and payment schedule. |
These are the standard conditions as of 20 August 2026. Any adjustment related to project duration, financing or client organisation must appear explicitly in the proposal; it is never added after signature.
Deliberate limitation
Edikka publishes these prices and sells website redesigns.
This page is not an independent comparison service. Edikka is a web agency that provides bespoke redesigns. Its ranges are therefore a declared commercial policy, not a neutral market study. External benchmarks are separated, named and linked to their sources.
The page does not publish an average based on Edikka projects: the available sample is not presented as representative of the French market. It does not turn a score, page count or form response into an automatic quote. Final pricing remains tied to a controllable scope.

Decide with a scope
A useful price lets you say yes, no or not yet.
If your budget is below €5,000 excluding VAT, a standard solution, a targeted adjustment or a phased project will usually be more rational than a bespoke Edikka redesign. Between €10,000 and €18,000, a complete B2B redesign becomes realistic when content, integrations and governance remain controlled. Above that, the budget should buy a measurable reduction in complexity, not an accumulation of effects.
Share the current website, its constraints and the budget you are considering. Edikka responds within two business days and checks project fit before proposing any framing engagement.
Edikka’s perspective
The price does not buy pages. It buys a better-controlled decision.
A redesign creates value when it concentrates the budget on the right scope, makes critical risks explicit and leaves a foundation the organisation can genuinely operate.
Buy the right scope
The budget first serves audiences, journeys and pages that support a useful decision — not an arbitrary volume of screens.
Fund continuity
SEO migration, accessibility, performance, data, acceptance and measurement become visible requirements instead of costs discovered too late.
Retain the value produced
Accounts, code, data, documentation and administration remain usable so the website can evolve without opaque dependency.
